A Class 2 licence covers rigid vehicles with a gross laden weight over 6,000 kg, which includes a typical 8-ton tipper. Licence rules are set by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, so confirm the current requirement for your vehicle. Finance is separate from licensing and does not depend on it.
Yes. Used tippers are commonly financed, though the truck age, hours and condition affect the term and which lender suits. Older trucks may need a shorter term. We assess the vehicle and your trading position, then match the application to a lender on our panel that supports it.
